Nowflation is a free, read-only website. It publishes a daily measurement of US inflation, a forecast of the next Consumer Price Index print that is graded in public after every release, and the open data behind both. There are no accounts, no subscriptions and nothing for sale. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the site.
The data files, charts and embed widgets on this site are free to use, including in commercial work, on two conditions. Credit "Nowflation" and link back to nowflation.com wherever the data or chart appears. Don't resell or redistribute the raw files as they are, whether as a paid dataset or a paid feed. Embedding a chart on your own site is welcome as long as the built-in credit stays visible. Quoting figures in articles, research, videos and social posts with attribution is fine. If you want to use the data in a way these terms don't cover, ask through the contact page.
The figures on this site come from third-party public sources, including the BLS, BEA, EIA, Zillow, AAA, the Federal Reserve system and the USDA, and from models this site runs on that data. Sources revise their numbers, feeds break and models have errors. Everything here is provided as is, without any warranty of accuracy, completeness, timeliness or fitness for a particular purpose. Check any figure against its source before you rely on it. The open data directory lists the source for every series, and known errors are recorded on the corrections page.
