Nowflation for journalists and publishers

Nowflation Realtime reads 2.84% year over year as of 2026-09-15. The Nowflation CPI Gauge reads 3.25% and the last official CPI print was 3.4% for August 2026. They are three different measures of three different questions and will not agree on any given day.

The next Nowflation Forecast is 3.49% for the September 2026 CPI print. Every forecast is written down and sealed with a hash before the release it calls, then graded in public against what printed.
